Since it can connect to the router, would I be able to control the robot somehow from a remote location through internet connect. I can think of some many user cases if it can be done.

If its going though router do you need to be physically present in the room to run it? Is there a pathway to open the program remotely and run a game?
Can it be controlled over the internet like a telerobotic robot or telepresence robot?

Simolux D i like that they included Scratch.
But you can also use Python. So Scratch can be used by beginners and kids.
